If you're having trouble streaming a live game on Kayo, this article will help you troubleshoot the issues.
The most common issues preventing live streams are:
Your Kayo Sports subscription is not active
- If you have cancelled your Kayo subscription or your payments are not up to date, you won’t be able to stream on Kayo
- Resubscribe to Kayo here to get back in the game!
Your device or operating system isn’t compatible with Kayo
- Ensure that you're using a compatible device or operating system by checking the full list of supported devices.
Check your internet connection
- Check the internet speed requirements for seamless streaming on Kayo. If you'd like to test the speed of your internet, we recommend running a speed test through your web browser.
Confirm you’re streaming from the right place
- Make sure you're trying to view Kayo via the website or official Kayo app
Disable any VPN you might be using
- If you have a Virtual Private Network (VPN) enabled, you will need to choose to disable it. Kayo is a geo-location based service which means it will only work within Australia, with VPNs disabled. For more information on how to disable your VPN click here.
The live stream may not be available on Kayo
- It's rare, but sometimes Kayo don't acquire the rights or licence to live stream a game. We try our best, but we can't win them all - read more about that kind of stuff here
- Head to the fixtures carousels on Kayo to see what sports, series and teams are playing, and what we can show. Which is, well, almost everything!
