There are several ways to get Kayo on your TV depending on your device:
- Hubbl

Hubbl
Once you’ve set up the Hubbl device, you won’t need to sign in to Kayo as it shares the same login details as your Hubbl subscription (also known as your Hubbl ID).
To start watching Kayo, simply select content from the home screen or launch Kayo.
Apple TV: tvOS 13+ (4th gen or higher)
- You'll need to download the Kayo app from the App Store
- Open the Kayo app on your home screen
- New to Kayo? Follow the prompts to subscribe via your Apple TV

Android TV: Version 8.0 and above
Kayo is available on selected Android TV devices. Make sure you download the television app for Android TV OS. To optimise your Kayo experience, you will require the Android TV OS (version 8.0 and above).
The Android MobileOS is not supported by Kayo for Android TV, and while it will still deliver a stream, you may experience buffering and/or other limitations using the unsupported operating system.
The following steps will get you streaming Kayo on your Android TV:
- Ensure you have a compatible device

- Download the Kayo Sports app for Android TV OS
- Open the Kayo app and select ‘Sign In’
- Use a smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code displayed on the screen, and select the pop-up that appears
- Follow the prompts

Samsung TV: 2017 and later models

You'll need to have an active Kayo subscription to watch on your Samsung TV

The next step is downloading the Kayo app on your compatible Samsung TV via the Samsung TV app store

Hisense TV: Selected 2019 - 2021 models
Note: At this stage, the Kayo app is currently available on 2019-2020 models running VIDAA U3 and U4 software. And 2021 models running Vidaa U5 software.

You'll need to have an active Kayo subscription to watch on your Hisense TV

If your TV is compatible, Kayo will appear on the app carousel on your Hisense Home page
NOTE: If the app does not appear, go to Settings and check for a Firmware upgrade. If your firmware is up to date, and Kayo is still not there, then your TV is not compatible. -

Chromecast
You'll first need to make sure you have a compatible Chromecast and are casting from a Chrome web browser.
For the optimal streaming experience, Kayo recommends Chromecast Ultra models or later (including Chromecast with Google TV and Chromecast 3rd Generation) and similar capability Android TVs.
Note: Chromecast 1st Generation is no longer supported by Kayo
First, you’ll need to download the Kayo app:
- Use the main menu on your Fire TV device to search for the Kayo Sports app.
- Select the Kayo Sports app.
- Select Get or the shopping card icon to start your download.
Once you’ve downloaded the app to your Fire TV device:
- Ensure you have an active Kayo subscription.
Note: If you’re a new customer, click here to subscribe.
- Once you’ve downloaded the Kayo app and have an active subscription, open the Kayo app from the home screen and select Sign In.
- Use a smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code displayed on the screen, and select the pop-up that appears.
- Your 8-digit code will be pre-populated, select Confirm.
- You may be asked to enter your login details. If not, your TV will automatically login.

You’re all set - you can now start streaming or setting up your profile!
- Log in to Kayo on your iOS device
- Select the fixture or program you would like to watch
- Once you're in the game, you can select the
icon which will be at the top right-hand side of your video player
- Just tap the device you wish to cast to, sit back and enjoy the action on the big screen!
Android: 6+
- Log in to Kayo on your Android device
- Select the fixture or program you would like to watch
- Once you're in the game, you can select the
icon which will be at the top right-hand side of your video player
- Just tap the device you wish to cast to, sit back and enjoy the action on the big screen!
Web browser (Mac OS 10.12_ or Windows 10)
- Ensure you're on Chrome browser. Check you have the latest version of Google Chrome downloaded
- Log in to Kayo on your Mac or PC
- Select the fixture or program you would like to watch
- Once you're in the game, you can select the
icon which will be at the top right-hand side of your video player
- Just select the device you wish to cast to, sit back and enjoy the action on the big screen!
Note: For the best Kayo experience when using Chromecast, you will require a strong internet speed of 7.5Mbps+.
First, you'll need to make sure you have:
- an iOS device running OS11 or later
- an Apple TV
- a strong Wi-Fi connection
- a TV with a HDMI port
Now follow these steps:
- Once you're logged into Kayo, make sure your Apple iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Apple TV.
- You can AirPlay while watching single videos but not in SplitView (unless you are using a Safari browser from a computer).
- Tap the AirPlay icon on your device
- The video will now AirPlay to your TV.
- The controls (fast forward, rewind, pause, play, and key moments) will be operated from your iOS device.
HDMI
You can also stream Kayo by connecting a mobile phone or laptop to your TV via an HDMI cable. This will mirror your screen on your device (mobile phone or laptop), and display the screen of your device on your TV.
So, if you get Kayo streaming on your device and connect to your TV via an HDMI cable, you'll be able to enjoy the best of Kayo. You'll also be able to control your viewing experience using your connected device.
If you choose this method to get Kayo on your TV, you may need:
- an active Kayo subscription
- a compatible mobile phone or laptop
- a TV with an HDMI port with a minimum requirement of HDCP 1.4
- an HDMI cable with a minimum requirement of HDCP 1.4. Click/Tap here to find out more about HDCP 1.4.
- an on-the-go (OTG) USB adaptor or a Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) adaptor
Note: Unfortunately, we do not support Kayo on Xbox at this time. We expect to be able to support Kayo on these platforms in the near future.
