Terms and Conditions | Gift Cards – effective 14 February 2024
Information about these terms
- Hubbl Pty Limited (ACN 072 725 289) (Hubbl, we or our), is the supplier of content streaming services made available in Australia from time to time (each a Streaming Service) and is the issuer of various Streaming Service gift cards (the/a Gift Card).
- By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Gift Card Terms). You will also be required to agree to the Hubbl Streaming and Account Customer Terms, Hubbl Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice when you subscribe to a Streaming Service.
Redeeming your Gift Card
- To redeem your Gift Card, you must have an existing Hubbl account or create a new Hubbl account, and follow the redemption instructions stated via the sales redemption flow for new customers, or via My Account for existing customers.
- To create a Hubbl account to redeem your Gift Card, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid credit card (Payment Method). Details of your Payment Method are required to create your account for identification purposes.
- Gift cards can only be redeemed against charges on your Hubbl account. You cannot redeem a Gift Card on a Streaming Service that is billed by a third party.
Gift Card Credit
- The value of your Gift Card will be applied to your Hubbl account on redemption (Gift Card Credit) and no incremental redemption or credit is permitted. Gift Cards are non-refundable, in full or part.
- Redemption of multiple Gift Cards is possible with the combined value adding to your Gift Card Credit. New customers will be able to redeem one Gift Card only during the initial sign up and further Gift Cards may be added after your Hubbl account has been created.
- Gift Cards cannot be applied to a particular Streaming Service. Your Gift Card Credit will be used against the next charge(s) on your Hubbl account until the Gift Card Credit has been fully utilised.
- Once the Gift Card Credit has been fully utilised, any balance due or ongoing subscription fees will be charged to your nominated Payment Method. For Streaming Service subscriptions, ongoing subscription fees will apply unless you cancel your subscription before your next billing period commences..
- Any unused Gift Card Credit will be held on your Hubbl account for 36 months from the time the Gift Card was applied to your Hubbl account.
- The use of Gift Cards in conjunction with other offers is at our sole direction and restrictions may apply.
Expiry
- Your Gift Card must be redeemed within 36 months from the date of Gift Card purchase.
General
- Gift Cards cannot be reloaded and are valid for one time use only.
- You should keep your Gift Card secure and treat it like cash. Gift Cards cannot be replaced or refunded if lost or stolen.
- You are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Card and are liable for the redemption of your Gift Card.
- Re-issue of faulty or damaged Gift Cards is not available unless the Gift Cards are proven to be faulty or damaged as a result of the production process or otherwise due to the fault of us, our agents or contractors or a participating retailer.
- You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Card or redeem your Gift Card for cash.
- Resale of Gift Cards is strictly prohibited.
- Gift Cards must not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities except with our prior written consent.
- To the extent of any inconsistency with the Hubbl Streaming and Account Customer Terms, these Gift Card Terms will prevail.
- Nothing in these Gift Card Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights that you have under existing laws or regulations and codes, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and equivalent State or Territory legislation.
- These Gift Card Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
