1. Which Fire TV models are compatible with Kayo?
Kayo is compatible with the below Fire TV models and versions:

You can identify which Fire TV model and version you have by either looking at the back of the device or near the ports, depending on which device you have.
Otherwise, you can find the model and version through Settings:
- Go to Settings, then select My Fire TV.
- Select About, then select your device.
2. Can I subscribe to Kayo on my Fire TV device?
Unfortunately no, you’ll need to subscribe to Kayo online via a web browser:
- Using a compatible web browser, click here.
- Choose the subscription that's right for you.
- Enter your personal details.
Note: A verification code will be sent from Hubbl to the mobile number you provided, which you'll need to enter to continue.
- Enter your payment details.
Note: Kayo requires credit card details for 7-day trials as a pre-authorisation to validate your card. For more information, click here.
- Your account is now active. You can start setting up your profile or skip straight to streaming!
3. How do I watch Kayo on my Fire TV device?
First, you’ll need to download the Kayo app:
- Use the main menu on your Fire TV device to search for the Kayo Sports app.
- Select the Kayo Sports app.
- Select Get or the shopping card icon to start your download.
Once you’ve downloaded the app to your Fire TV device:
- Ensure you have an active Kayo subscription.
Note: If you’re a new customer, click here to subscribe.
- Once you’ve downloaded the Kayo app and have an active subscription, open the Kayo app from the home screen and select Sign In.
- Use a smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code displayed on the screen, and select the pop-up that appears.
- Your 8-digit code will be pre-populated, select Confirm.
- You may be asked to enter your login details. If not, your TV will automatically login.

You’re all set - you can now start streaming or setting up your profile!
4. Will all Kayo features be available on my Fire TV device?
You’ll have access to most of Kayo’s game-changing features like Key Moments, No Spoilers and Kayo Minis. Search, SplitView and fixtures are currently not available on Fire TV devices.
5. Is 4K available on Amazon Fire TV?
Unfortunately 4K content on Kayo is not currently available on Amazon Fire TV, however we plan to introduce 4K streaming to more devices in the future.
6. What if I’m having trouble streaming on my Fire TV device?
We recommend following the below troubleshooting steps if you're having issues streaming:
1. Restart the device
- Using your remote, click Settings in the far-right on the home screen.
- Depending on your device, navigate to either My Fire TV or Device & Software.
- Select Reset.
Otherwise, you can also reboot the Fire TV device by turning off and unplugging it from its power source, waiting about a minute, then plugging it back in.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the Kayo Sports app
- From the home page, go to Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Select Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the Kayo Sports app, then select Uninstall.
- To reinstall the app, use the main menu to search for the Kayo Sports app.
- Select the app, then select Get or the the shopping cart icon to start the download.
2. Reboot the WiFi router and run a speed test
- Turn the WiFi router off, and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the router back in.
- Switch the router back on (this can take about a minute).
- Try connecting to the internet again.
It's also worth running a speed test to ensure your internet connection is stable. We recommend an internet speed of at least 7.5Mpbs to stream.
3. Clear the cache on your device
- From the home screen, select Settings, then open Applications.
- Scroll down and open Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the Kayo Sports app (the cache size will appear on the right).
- On the following window, click Clear cache.
Note: Clicking Clear data will also clear the cache, however it will also reset the app and remove any data, including login data and settings.
4. Ensure your Fire TV device is on the latest software version
To check for updates:
- Go to Settings, then select Fire TV.
- Select About, then select Check for system update.
If there’s an update available, you can install it right away. Your system will restart once it’s finished downloading.
