Why can't I see the Chromecast icon on Kayo?

If you want to Chromecast your Kayo video but can't see the casting icon on the video player, check out these tips to find out the reason why:
 

• You'll first need to make sure you have a compatible Chromecast and are casting from a Chrome web browser, or the Kayo app
  • Note: Chromecast 1st Generation is no longer supported by Kayo. For the optimal streaming experience using Chromecast, Kayo recommends Chromecast Ultra and latest 3rd generation, and similar capability Android TVs.
• Check that your Chromecast device is properly connected to your TV and power supply
• Try resetting your Chromecast device
• Log out from Kayo and then back in again
• Make sure you aren't using the SplitView feature. That's because you can only Chromecast Kayo using the single video player.
• Try turning your wireless device off and on again

iOS: 13+

1. From your iOS device, open the App Store app
2. Tap updates → update Google Cast if an update is available
3. Make sure your iOS device and Chromecast are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
4. Once your Chromecast device is listed on the same network as your iOS device, try launching and casting Kayo again 

Android: 8.0+

1. From your Android device, open the Google Home app
2. If you do not have the Google Home app, download the app here 
3. Tap the devices button in the upper right of the screen
4. Look for your Chromecast
5. If your Chromecast is listed, check that it is on the same network as your Android
6. If your Chromecast is not listed, it may be connected to a different network
7. Once your Chromecast device is listed on the same network as your Android, try launching and casting Kayo again

Web

• MacOS: 10.12+
• Windows: 10

1. Firstly, you will need to be using a Google Chrome web browser, you can download the latest version of Chrome here  
2. Make sure your computer and Chromecast are connected to the same Wi-Fi Network
3. Once your Chromecast device is listed on the same network as your computer, try launching and casting Kayo again
