How do I download the Kayo app on my Chromecast with Google TV?
To download the Kayo app on your Chromecast with Google TV, simply follow these steps:
- Select ‘Apps’ from the top navigational menu
- Select ‘Search for apps’ and search for ‘Kayo Sports’
- Select the Kayo Sports app and select ‘Install’
- Enter your existing Kayo Sports credentials
Note: Currently, you cannot sign up to Kayo using Chromecast with Google TV. You must already have an active subscription to use Kayo on this device.
Can I subscribe to Kayo via Chromecast with Google TV?
Unfortunately, the sign up process isn't supported on Chromecast with Google TV at this stage. You will need to first subscribe to Kayo via a web browser.

How do I watch Kayo on my Chromecast with Google TV?
Firstly, you'll need to have the Kayo app downloaded as well as an active Kayo subscription to watch on your Chromecast with Google TV.
To stream Kayo simply follow these steps:
- Select ‘Apps’ on your Chromecast with Google TV
- In ‘Your Apps’ scroll to Kayo
- Select the Kayo app and enter your existing credentials
- Sit back, relax and start streaming!
Why is SplitView different on my Chromecast with Google TV?
SplitView is available on Chromecast with Google TV, but operates a little differently to other devices.
When you select ‘SplitView’, this feature will work similarly to ‘Picture in Picture’, displaying your main content as full screen with your secondary content in a smaller screen.
SplitView via Chromecast with Google TV is only available with a maximum of 2 screens.
