1. Which mobiles and tablets are compatible with Kayo?
Kayo is compatible with Apple iPhones and iPads running iOS:16+ and Android mobiles and tablets running Android 8.0+.
2. How do I watch Kayo on my mobile or tablet?
Before you start, make sure you've downloaded the Kayo app on your mobile device:
- iOS: To download the Kayo app from the Apple App Store, click here.
- Android: To download the Kayo app from the Google Play Store, click here.
To start streaming on your mobile or tablet:
- Once you've download the Kayo app to your mobile device, open the app and if you're an active Kayo customer, simply log in using your existing details.
Note: If you're a new customer, click here and follow the steps to sign up.
- Once you've logged in to Kayo on your mobile, you can start streaming and setting up your profile!
3. What if I'm having trouble streaming on my mobile or tablet?
We recommend following the below troubleshooting steps if you're having issues streaming:
1. Ensure the Kayo app is up to date
iOS:
- Open the App Store and tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes.
- Next to the Kayo Sports app, click Update.
Android:
- Open the Google Play Store and at the top-right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps and device. Apps with an update available are labelled 'Update available'.
- Next to the Kayo Sports app, tap Update.
2. Quit and restart the Kayo app
iOS:
- On an iPhone with face ID, swipe up from the bottom edge and pause in the centre of the screen. On an iPad or iPhone with a Home button, double-click the home button.
- Swipe to find the app, then swipe up on the app.
- To reopen the app, go to the home screen or App Library and tap the app.
Android:
- Tap or long press the Overview button in the lower-left or lower-right corner of your screen. For navigational gestures, swipe up and hold the lower-left corner.
- You'll see recently opened apps - swipe up the Kayo Sports app to close it.
- To reopen the app, go to the home screen and tap the app.
3. Reboot the device
iOS:
- Press and quickly release the volume up button.
- Press and quickly release the volume down button.
- Press and hold the side button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
Android:
- Press and hold the power button (usually on the right side of the device) for several seconds.
- The menu should appear with the Power Off option.
4. Reboot the WiFi router and run a speed test
- Turn the WiFi router off, and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the router back in
- Switch the router back on (this can take about a minute).
- Try connecting to the internet again.
It's also worth running a speed test to ensure your internet connection is stable. We recommend an internet speed of at least 7.5Mpbs to stream.
5. Clear the cache on your device
iOS:
- Hold down on the app you want to delete until a menu pops up.
- Press remove app.
- Head back to the App Store and re-download the app.
Android:
- Go to the Settings menu on your device.
- Tap Storage in your device's settings.
- Tap Internal Storage under Device Storage.
- Tap Cached data.
- Tap OK when a dialog box appears asking if you're sure you want to clear all app cache.
