First, find the model number on the back of the TV. You can also check this via Settings > All Settings > Support > About this TV.
Click here and scroll down to the table to locate the model year according to the model number of your TV.
Note: If your TV was released prior to 2017, it is not compatible with Kayo.

The SplitView feature is not supported on Samsung TV. You will be able to stream the standard view (1 screen).
5. Is my Samsung TV an Android TV?
No. Samsung TVs use a Tizen Operating System which is not the same as an Android Operating System found on other smart TVs.
6. Is 4K available on Samsung TV?

7. What if I'm having trouble streaming on my Samsung TV?
We recommend following the below troubleshooting steps if you're having issues streaming:
1. Ensure you're using a compatible device
Kayo is only available on 2017 or later model Samsung TVs. If your Samsung TV is a model earlier than 2017, it is currently not supported on Kayo.

2. Clear the cache on the TV
Cache is a storage location used to temporarily store data used by your device. When it builds up and isn't cleared, it can affect streaming performance.
To clear the cache:
- Tap the Home button on your remote control, then go to Settings.
- Select Apps, then go to System apps.
- Choose the app you want to clear the cache from.
- Select Clear cache, then OK to confirm.
3. Discharge or 'cold boot' the TV
Over time your Samsung TV can run low on memory, or a residual electrical charge can build up, which can result in glitches or apps not responding.
Discharging or cold booting can help this:
- With the TV on, press and hold the power button on your TV remote until the TV turns off and back on.
- When the TV turns back on, everything should be back to normal.
4. Reboot the WiFi router and run a speed test
- Turn the WiFi router off, and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug the router back in.
- Switch the router back on (this can take about a minute).
- Try connecting to the internet again.
It's also worth running a speed test to ensure your internet connection is stable. We recommend an internet speed of at least 7.5Mpbs to stream.
5. Ensure the TV system is up to date
If the TV is connected to the internet, software updates may be installed automatically while you're watching TV if you have this setting enables. Once the update is complete, it will be applied the next time the TV is turned on.
To check if updates are being installed automatically:
- Navigate to the Menu, then select Settings.
- Select Support, then Software Update.
- Select Auto Update to turn it on or off.
